Other bands shift the cup letter: the same difference gives a bigger letter on a smaller band. ThirdLove's E equals DD, F equals DDD. The range runs from AA to H, with half cups in the most common sizes. Use the full chart on ThirdLove's site for your band.
Does ThirdLove run small? (fit by product type)
- T-shirt and contour bras: molded cups, so half cups matter. If the cup puckers, go down a half cup; if you spill over, go up.
- Plunge and push-up bras: a lower center can feel smaller in the cup. Check the gore sits flat.
- Wireless bras and bralettes: some are sized in letters (SāXL), so check the product's own guide.
- Underwear: ThirdLove has a separate underwear chart; check it on the product page.
ThirdLove's guide is clear on fit clues: a band that rides up is too big; straps that slip often mean the cup is too big; a gore that lifts off your chest means the cup is too small. We did not find a clear "runs small" pattern, so measure first.
